Hiroshi Abe (Japanese Actor)

Hiroshi Abe (阿部 寛, Abe Hiroshi?, born June 22, 1964) is a Japanese model and actor. He began his career as a model, but he successfully made the transition to acting, becoming one of the most regularly visible presences in Japanese media. He is a 1988 graduate of Chuo University.

Career

In 1988, during his last year of college, he made his first foray into professional acting with the movie Haikara-san Ga Touru. In 2009, he won the award for Best Actor in the 63rd Mainichi Film Award for his performances as Kenshiro in the animated film Hokuto no Ken Zero: Kenshiro Den.

Kontroversi Bikini Sang Puteri

Bulan agustus tahun 2009 lalu indonesia kembali digemparkan oleh puteri indonesia 2008 yang mengikuti ajang Miss Universe 2009 yang diselenggarakan di kepulauan Bahamas.sebetulnya bukan karena ke ikut sertaan Zivana Letisha yang bergelar puteri indonesia saat itu tetapi karena didapati Zizi menggunakan bikini 2 pieces dalam pemotretan dan juga penilaian.biasanya kontestan dari indonesia menggunakan bikini 1 pieces dalam pemotretanya tetapi kali ini berbeda dengan tahun sebelumnya Zizi berani memakai bikini 2 pieces dalam ajang terebut.selain menarik perhatian khalayak,Zizi ternyata sudah benar-benar memikirkan tentang resiko yang dia hadapi jika dia mengenakan bikini 2 pieces dalam kontes ini.tak sedikit juga yang mendukun Zizi untuk tampil mengenakan bikini.bahkan memang Zizi telah berani tampil trbuaka pada tahun 2006 yaitu menjadi Model Elite Look 2006.Zizi sangat percaya diri dalam mengikuti ajang tersebut hingga dia mendapatkan possisi Miss favorit saat itu dan mengalahkan peserta asal brazil Larisa Cozta.poling internet itu karena pendukung Zizi di indonesia tidaklah sedikit.Sangat membanggakan sekali puteri kita yang satu ini mampu menarik perhatian dunia dalam ajang tersebut dengan mendapat posisi pertama poling internet.

Dayana Sabrina Mendoza Moncada (born June 1, 1986 in Caracas, Venezuela) is a model and beauty pageant titleholder who won the titles of Miss Venezuela 2007 and Miss Universe 2008.


Before Miss Universe

In 2001, Mendoza signed with Elite Model Management and was a finalist at the Elite Model Look International 2001, in Nice, France[2]. She has worked with the companies Max Mara and Costume Nacional, where she modeled in New York, Italy, Germany, France, Athens and Spain for Versace, Roberto Cavalli and other fashion designers. She speaks Spanish, English, and Italian.[9] After Elite, she signed to Trump Model Management, and in Milan, Names Model Agency.

Dayana beat 27 other candidates to win Miss Venezuela 2007 on September 13, 2007, and became only the second woman representing the Amazonas state to win (the first being Carolina Izsak in 1991).[10] She was crowned Miss Universe 2008 at the pageant in the Crown Convention Center, Nha Trang, Vietnam on July 13, 2008.[11] Mendoza became the first winner of the pageant from Venezuela since Miss Universe 1996's winner Alicia Machado,[12] thus making her the first Venezuelan Miss Universe in the 21st century.
Miss Venezuela and Miss Universe

Miss Universe 2007 Riyo Mori crowned her with a tiara worth 120,000 U.S. dollars. Her prize package includes cash, a year contract promoting Miss Universe, world travel, a rent-free, prestigious New York City flat, luxury apartment and a gift bag stuffed with designer shoes, dresses and beauty products, a $100,000 stipend for a 2-year course at the New York Film Academy and free access to famous fashion houses and beauty parlors. Mendoza will spend her year-long reign traveling the world to lecture on humanitarian issues and to promote education regarding HIV/AIDS.

As of June 2009, Mendoza as Miss Universe has traveled to Indonesia, Singapore, Puerto Rico, Italy, Spain, France, Nicaragua, Ukraine, Czech Republic, Bahamas, Russia, El Salvador, United Arab Emirates, Brazil, Dominican Republic, Bolivia, Argentina, Romania and Vietnam, in addition to numerous trips around the USA and her homecoming in Venezuela.
